Single JPEG photo processed with easyHDR

Single photo processed with HDR tone mapping, black and white style

EasyHDR3 is my go to HDR software choice above all others... Parliament House, Budapest, Hungary.

When I want to make an image "pop" or salvage an image which does not quite "look right" I always choose EasyHDR3, and it very seldom fails to make a significant difference. I created some images at night of the Hungarian Parliament building from a moving ship on the river. I had no tripod and no real chance of exposure bracketing due to the ferry movement, so I took a number of images and hoped for the best. When I examined them, I found one or two that looked as though they had potential, but which did not do it for me as they were. I loaded the selected RAW file into the software and immediately realised that the Monochrome image option was in a league of its own. I have since made extensive use of the software to create memorable monochrome images, which have been very well received. There is enough data in a single RAW image to allow the software to do a very good job of tone mapping.

EasyHDR is HDR photo editing software that produces High Dynamic Range (HDR) images out of normal, JPEG/JPEG2000, TIFF or RAW photos taken with a typical digital camera. The program merges a sequence of photos taken at different exposure settings and applies tone mapping in order to create the result. It is also possible to enhance single photos.

Finally you can get rid of underexposed, overexposed and noisy areas in your photographs. You can also discover new possibilities - by taking pictures in places where are very difficult lighting conditions.
