Teide volcano as seen from Roques de Garcia, Tenerife. Three photos were taken with a Canon R and a Samyang 14mm f/2.4 lens at 2 EV spacing. They were auto-aligned, merged into an HDR image, and tone-mapped using easyHDR. The light was perfect during the golden hour at Roques de García. A light Calima (Saharan dust in the air) added some beautiful soft tones as well. With HDR techniques, it's possible to shoot directly into the sun while compressing the tonal range to match, or even exceed, what the human eye can perceive, resulting in a more dramatic effect. © Bartłomiej Okonek

EasyHDR is HDR photo editing software that produces High Dynamic Range (HDR) images out of normal, JPEG/JPEG2000, TIFF or RAW photos taken with a typical digital camera. The program merges a sequence of photos taken at different exposure settings and applies tone mapping in order to create the result. It is also possible to enhance single photos.

Finally you can get rid of underexposed, overexposed and noisy areas in your photographs. You can also discover new possibilities - by taking pictures in places where are very difficult lighting conditions.
